Although true, I guess, you should still eat good fats like nuts….

No it’s not bad for you but remember it still has calories.

is honey bad for u? i hear its natural sugar that the body immediately uses biologically through active transport. i could go through almost a small bottle of honey easy in a week.

Good fats contain calories just like bad fats. They will both add calories and therefore weight - body fat.

thats horse buddy. good fats will not make you fat. that is a rather broad and glib statement. flax, primrose, coconut oils, almonds, to name a few, will help stablise blood sugar levels and allow for a greater nitrogen balence within the body which creates a perfect anabolic, muscle building/fat buring enviroment. that is a rather broad and glib statement.

There are good fats BUT they contain as many calories as bad fats and they will make you fat too!

Thanks…and my workouts are rather extreme and i have been told so many times, but i am meeting my goals and i have thought that my intake total was kinda high…thanks for the help and guidance!

It depends on whether you’re gaining fat or not. 3850 calories is a lot of calories so you are either exercising like maniac to create a calorie deficit or your calorie calculations are a bit high. A calorie total is irrelevant IF a person is achieving their desired goals.

Hey Steve!! Well first off thanks for all of your information, secondly Im doing HIIT and heavy weight training…seeing great gains but i wanted to know if my cal. deficit is too extreme…im 188lbs 5′10 and my suggested intake is 3850(good or bad?) and working out hard 5 days a week with HIIT and taking in about 3000 cals b4 my work out is considered..open to suggestions or adjustments!!! Thanks a lot.
