The other big thing is that you can research for hours about what foods are good/bad and have a definite idea when they are all wrong. The fact is, each person’s body is unique and can tolerate things that others can’t.
In raw foods in particular a lot of sites will say “never do …,” or “you must …” In reality there are always exceptions to the rule. For instance: “never eat fruit with meat,” except papaya can be eaten with anything.
Point is, trust your body over anything you read.

Cravings, hunger, being full. Sounds simple but it’s common for people, including myself, to worry about how many calories we are getting, how much fat, protein,etc.etc..etc..
I just meant we can drop all that “knowledge” and just let the body tell us what it needs. I.E. I thought I needed 3000+ calories a day and would force large meals. I realize I only needed that many calories because my body wasn’t getting the right nutrients.

Totally digging the vibe you talk of creating at the table, I have a hard time eating when there is anger at the table… it just doesn’t feel right, and so often I skip dinner until the coast is clear, but I like your suggestion - eye contact, a prayer, connection, relaxation…I’ll have to remind myself to get back to that!

I have to say it too. I don’t care if you just keep making juice for us and giving us daily inspiration and key points to think about. I love the 10 minute format. It is all so helpful. I am juicing daily at least one time and occasionally 2. Thanks for being a friend.

My love to you Dan, glad you are feeling better. I can really see you traveling around to do juice feats with people in their homes. I bet you are a chill housemate. I hope your lovely lady friends are feeling cleaner and lighter in spirit. I hope to see an update with them when the feasting is over… what it was like for them, what came up and out, how they feel, would they do it again, favorite juice ala Dan and all that jazz. Hey Dan, do they pay per day or as a package deal?

Dude this video has some of the best messages yet. I am a science FREAK so anatomy and physiology hot my spots. I LOVE when you get into chemistry, physiology, psychology and nutrition in your videos. I must be becoming really strong! I fancied a pkt crisps today before lunch. Felt like I had eaten too much fruit. Even checked the money in my purse to see if I could buy some!!! Anyway, I went into the work kitchen and ate my mango /spinach/coconut oil smoothie. In came a colleage with ‘fish n chips’ a previous fav meal. I nearly ‘flipped’ but I proceeded to cut my orange and stayed strong and positive. Thanks Dan for all your daily video’s and positivty. It helps us to stay stong.
