I deal with the question by a viewer who like I was sick of eggs and bacon, and was looking for alternative breakfast items. how big of cheeseburger? maybe you were just hungry or potentially throw a salad together in a few hours. If you think you really aren’t hungry but your body is just saying you are, you might try chromium piccollate.

After Induction, nuts (1-2oz) are a good option. During Induction, a slice of cheese or summer sausage are good options.

I am like you I am not big egg fan by themselves (in fact I detest them :-) ), so most of mine are more similar to lunch and dinner than an old breakfast idea — if you exclude quiche and sausage ideas, which are more like traditional breakfast idea. I really like the idea of cooking chicken and roast beef ahead of time, and that way my breakfast (usually fajita salad) was fast and very filling.

back to what i was saying it limits characters.. tonight i had 2 cheeseburgers with a tomato cheese and bacon. I was very happy at dinner but 2 hours later i could eat a horse. why is that? this is why i weigh so much i get so hungry 2-3 hours after a meal and grab a snack thats usually bad. Got any ideas??

I really love all your videos. I am on day 10 of induction. I seem to have stopped for that last 5 days staying steady at my weight (new for me dieting or not giggle) figured out that atkins shakes and bars are a no no today so hopefully i will jump start again. I cant eat eggs if its the main ingredient. like most of the morning recipes on atkins site. I really would like to know more ideas that are breakfast like that would fill me up. I am still very hungry during the day. even tonight ughh

Popcorn is puffed corn, so it is allowed when you get to the grains rung on OWL. It relatively empty Calories and Carbs at that. There is not much good about popcorn as it typically doesn’t fill you up and encourages over-grazing.

I will have to do my homework.. I am in the induction phase and heard that if you count your carbs and you are under 20, you are good… damn it….

what video do you recommend so that I learn more about the induction what/what not food?

For Induction, no. For OWL, sure. Protein powder made from whey protein has milk allergens in it.

You say I eat of diet of basically meat. Did you read my suggestions?
* Taco or Fajita Salad
* Low Carb Stir Fry
* Sausage Broccoli Quiche
* Upside Down Low Carb Pizza
All of these are loaded with veggies and dairy. There is nothing magical in higher carb fruit that one can’t get in veggies or lower carb fruit.

Have you investigated what Atkins Diet followers actually do eat? It seems you are under a bunch of myths.

What am I missing? I eat more than the daily recommended servings of vegetables each day and have since I started the Atkins Diet. I eat variety of fruit through out the week. If I was missing something of importance, wouldn’t you think after 5 years in my case (or 20-30 years in friends’ of mine cases) that some deficiency would occur?

What defines health? To me if you are fit, body within good ranges, heart, lungs, and other organs well functioning, it would seem you are healthy.

you can also have a bad diet and have less weight because even if you are eating a diet basically of meat and you are eliminating bread, candy´s, soda, fruits etc. you ll lose weight but this WONT BE A HEALTHY WAY because your body are not obtaining the necesary nutriens in order to can have a good function

ok, i´m partially agree with you about the world fascination of refinated sugar like soda, refinated bread etc it´s a healthy problem. and the meet is not unhealthy at all because they should be eating so that our body can have some nutrients. but having meat as the first thing we mus´t eat i think it is stupid and it´s either more stupid to have fruits like unhealthy food

I have 5 years of excellent health, blood work, and 211 pounds lost to go along with it in addition to miles and miles ran including 8 full and half marathons. All of this would not have possible without the Atkins Diet — I know I tried low Calorie, low Fat diets before with no success.

The problem is not the eating of more meat. There have been lots of generation of healthy meat eaters. The problem is the world’s fascination of processed foods that are loaded with carbohydrates as cheap taste substitutes and have gone further from a recognizable form of food. The problem is not the steak or even frying, it’s overindulgence of refined grains, sugars, starches.

I am glad you have found your recipe for health. I certainly have found mine.

american people are basically eating more meat , all the kind of fried food and all bad products… why we are not healthier? the answer is so simple is because the kind of diet is unhealthy and we are making less exercise, we must recognize this and have a better diet ( i personally recognized it and i have had a better diet since 6 months ago i have lost 32 pounds )

answer is so simple , we are hearing only what we like to hear, i like to asked you why we are getting more and more fat every time in this century? is for the tyranny of the king sugar, is it because of the bad food like fruits and vegetables, for beans, rice etc… obviously no. many generacions and centurys were living with this food without healthy problems, and now so may cultures like japanese are still living healthier than american people
