To those who fear only drinking juice will endanger their health, I sugges you start with veggie/fruit smoothies before each meal, digest for 15 minutes and eat your regular meal. You may be so full that you won’t need your regular meal or at the very least, you will not eat as much. Every day reduce the amount of your regular meal until you become at least 80% raw.

thanks for inspiring us how to live healthier physically, mentally and spiritually. im sure this lifestyle or way of life will make a wave of change. cooking and preparing food is an aesthetic science or art. people should have time to enjoy arts and science rather than fast foods and over the counter medication. change start from individual so im determined to start the change. thank you.

Hey Philip! Thanks again for another great video. I have shared this one with my Mom. I started her on an 80% raw/juicing plan as well after she had a bout of colitis. She has already lost weight and is cured from the colitis and it is only on week two! She just got a new juicer and is VERY excited with the changes her body is making :)
Thanks for your inspirations of body, mind and spirit.

Peace and Love, :D

Thank you for sharing. I too rely on the principal that healthy living has no expiration date.

What a great journey you have taken and continue to be on. Your story is very inspiring. Amazing how life can turn completely upside down in order to get us on our journey.

I felt hungry too, no matter how much I ate. I’m used to ‘heavy’, harder to digest foods. It’s just a matter of my body adjusting to lighter cuisine. When I eat fresh foods, I don’t feel like I’ve eaten anything. I’m hoping this will pass. I’m sure it will, if I can just stop cheating with those ‘heavy’ foods that make me feel more satisfied. Green smoothies will be what gets me there. They are immensely satisfying. Get through the detox before you make any decisions. Be a badger! Don’t let go.

You have a lot of really good things to say! I’ve been doing raw the last week or so just on my own but now I’m starting to do more research.

If you are hungry, you’re not eating enough. Duh? Same with every single “diet” on the planet.

this reminds me of religions. People are looking for someone to follow, rather then making up their own diet. I feel fantastic. I am on a half raw, macro-biotic diet and the hunza diet..basically modifying my diet to how much I exercise. I try to go 99 percent organic and now I am not adding oil to my diet. Raw fooders add alot of oil. I am not that uptight about food. It is great to just learn alot about nutrition and not follow people like they are gurus.

This is incredibly inspiring. thank you for sharing this with us.

I’ve been dealing with that “diet” stigma when I tell people what I’m trying to do. They all ask when I’ll eat normal food again and I try to tell them that (1) raw foods should be the norm not the minority and (2) this is not something with an expiration date, it is a lifestyle change.

I think that the “endless” component of raw is what caused me so much fear when first beginning…it was very difficult to accept that I wanted to make a dietary/lifestyle change for HEALTH, and not just temporary lifestyle…it was exciting, but terrifying, too, because I think I had spend so long NOT loving myself that it was scary to think of taking action out of self-love and desire to encourage vibrance within my being. It’s hard to think of completely changing gears. But WORTH IT.

You don’t kill the parasites, your healthy colon does. Nearly all Americans have intestinal parasites but raw vegans are parasite free!

I’m not that much into the raw food, but I’m trying. I’m just taking it one step at a time and using common sense along the way. But you guys rock on!

How do you kill the parasites in raw vegetables?
I don’t eat any animals stuff, either.
Thank You!

I love hot green tea and I plan to keep drinking it. It will feel nice in winter, and maybe the warmth will help keep our insides ‘washed’. Plus there’s all those antioxidants.

Thank you for commenting on responsibility. It’s time we all realized that only being truly accountable to ourselves can bring us the happiness we’re all looking for.
