If you are looking for alternatives, oat milk is easily made and ridiculously cheap. You could also make it from wheat, spelt or rye. It’s always a matter of steeping the flakes overnight, boiling and blending up. As for soy milk, I ferment it with kefir grains from time to time. It gives me a lot of energy.

I changed my diet ended up getting a lot of soy and with in months I had bad symptoms of IBS and still have lingering issues from it.

i was born premature and my mother never gave into soy formula, she never fed me soy and only fed me real food. I developed perfectly, agianst all odds.
since ive banned all soy in my diet, ive just plain felt better.

Yeah a couple of years ago when started paying attention to soy, I read about some of these problems and others. Although I still consume soy products I in no way view it as a magic health food.
Newton may have been onto something greater than physics when he said “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction” meaning every food with health benefits also has its drawbacks

I am a user of soy milk and tofu. However, after receiving this information along with another bit of news today, I am going to look for alternatives.

totally insane. Drs are always advising switching to soy for various reasons; Drs, in general, don’t know shit about anything…only what they are told by pharma
