“Chocolate is not part of the Atkins diet, and that was my downfall.”
The sweets you buy at the store are certainly bad… but you can make your own low-carb hot chocolate with unsweetened cocoa.

“…Cuts out the foods we should be eating… whole grains…”
It’s sad how people have been brainwashed into thinking that grains are essential in the diet when they simply aren’t even natural for us to eat.

lots of people tried to sell this kind of diet…what made Atkins successful is that he got aggressive with people to break through people’s food addiction

Personal finance guru, Dave Ramsey is successful similiarly. Dave’s wealth plan is simple and everyone knows that it would work; however, Dave has to call people’s behavior foolish, selfish, stupid, etc. to break through people’s self-destructive beliefs.
